| | From the Office | ALL YEAR GROUPS:
Mobile Phones
Boys have recently been told in assembly that they are only permitted to use their mobile phones before 8.35am, between 4pm and 4.25pm, then after 5.25pm. At all other times mobiles should be switched off and in their locker. Any phones seen outside of permitted times will result in a lunchtime behaviour detention. It may be advisable to give them a small plastic bag for their phone in case of leakage following heavy rain. Please also make sure your son has a proper padlock to ensure it is locked away safely. Any boy needing to contact home can do so via Mrs Tarr at reception.
Chromebooks
Please may we ask you to support your son in ensuring that his Chromebook is fully charged for the school day. Even though we are moving away from regular use of Chromebooks in lessons, they do need to be charged and ready for use as and when required. Thank you.
Combined Cadet Force (CCF) Parent Information Evening - Tuesday 18 May 7pm
We would like to invite you to our virtual CCF Parent Information Evening being held on Tuesday 18 May via the Meet Link. This is an opportunity to find out more about the new CCF and to ask any questions you may have (letter). The event is primarily aimed at parents of our first cohort (current Year 9 and Year 11 pupils), but anyone may attend as other year groups will have the opportunity to join at some point in the near future.
The Big Ask - Deadline for completion 19 May
The deadline for taking part in ‘The Big Ask’ is Wednesday 19 May. The adult survey is temporarily suspended due to technical issues, but please do encourage your son to share his views in the pupil survey.
