A message from the Executive Head
Dear Parents and Guardians
Thank you so much for your support over the past few months, and especially in this last week with our final (hopefully!) few days of home learning, and with our Lateral Flow testing for Year 7 children and above.
We cannot wait to see your children on Monday.
Have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes

Executive Head Teacher

Bulletin Survey
We are constantly looking to make improvements to the way we communicate and provide information. This Bulletin is the core weekly message to all families by email, which covers important school notices, events, key dates, news and head teacher's words. We appreciate your feedback so we can ensure it is reaching you and providing the information you need, in a format that is effective.

We would be most grateful if you could please take a few minutes to answer this questionnaire (or copy and paste this address by our extended deadline of Monday 8 March. The form is anonymous and does not collect email addresses. Responses will be aggregated to give a consensus of opinion rather than individual views, to see if there are any improvements or adjustments we can make.

Our condolences
It is with great sadness that we write to let you know that Mrs Pauline Crawley passed away on Thursday this week at the age of 65 years. She retired in April 2019 having spent the previous 12 years working in Claires Court Nursery and was a much valued and loved member of staff who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this terribly sad time.

Monday 8 March - return to school and welcome back
All year groups are to return to school on Monday 8 March. A few reminders:
  • Full school uniform on non-sporting days. Sports kit only on the days girls are playing sport
  • Face masks (not snoods/scarves) to be worn in communal areas and classrooms, as well as on all transport services
  • Chromebooks need to be fully charged overnight (and chargers left at home)
  • Supervised study will be available after school Monday through to Thursday, but girls will need to be picked up at 5.15pm, as the school coaches will have already departed at 4.15pm from Senior Girls for onward travel to Senior Boys/home.
Parent Focus Group
We are keen to put together a Year 7 Parent Focus Group which would meet every few months with Mrs Ruddick (Deputy Head-Pastoral). The main purpose of the group is to provide constructive feedback to the school as well as providing an opportunity for parents to share opinions, feelings and perceptions on school based activities. If you are interested in being part of this, please email Mrs Ruddick by Friday 5 March.

National Citizen Service
We recently introduced the NCS in an assembly to the Year 11 Senior Girls. Please find further information here and also a parents video. You can also visit their website
