|Mr Richards Words Week 7|
|It is so nice to be back at school. Whilst the rest of the country is under tighter restrictions, we have been able to carry on with education, which brings a sense of normality during the day.

Our long and eagerly-awaited planning inquiry for the development of the Ridgeway site is nearly upon us, and we are calling for your help and support. The inquiry will be held online by an independent planning inspector from 18 November for eight days.
As we celebrate our diamond jubilee in our 60th year, we would dearly love to cement our plans to bring us all together at one-purpose-built, future-proof campus fit for our quality teaching and the families we care so much about. Letters of support for the plans are welcomed by the inspector and help form a good picture of all the significant benefits arising from our plans that will so positively affect a wide-range of people in our community. More information is being sent to all our families and friends, so we do hope you can help us and show your support and write to: email@example.com by: Wednesday 17 November 2020. Include the relevant planning references in your subject line (or at the top of your email):

There is a new addition to the Senior Girls uniform, grey trousers. These are a set style and can only be purchased from our uniform stockist Goyals for £25.
Please remember that blazers must be worn to school. Pupils can wear their school jumper too but this is to be worn as well as a blazer and not instead of a blazer.
Our classrooms must be ventilated, so will have their doors and windows kept open and some will get chilly. We will continue to heat them but please layer up and stay warm; you can do this whilst still taking pride in the uniform.
Wednesday 11 November - ‘Wear red to remember’ mufti day
In support of the British Legion Poppy Day and Remembrance Day we are asking the pupils to wear mufti and wear something red for the day for a £1 donation into the school which we, in turn, will send to the British Legion. This is a change to the normal poppies which are usually on sale but due to Covid-19 restrictions these are not available to us this year. Thank you for helping support this worthwhile charity. If your daughter has PE, she should wear something which is appropriate to wear during this lesson.
