|Five Star Award|
We had a visit earlier this week from the RBWM Food Safety and Hygiene Officer and we are happy to report that our catering team have been awarded five stars - the highest mark! This is a rating we have had for the last 12 years.
Following the success of last year’s Poetry Competition, we are once again inviting the boys in Years 2 to 6, to put their speaking, memory and performance skills to the test and enjoy sharing a poem they have practised, whilst accumulating points for their house.
On Monday in assembly, Mrs Vine will speak to the boys about what is required of them and further details will be sent home through the boys’ homework diaries.
The finals of the Poetry competition will take place on Friday 14 February and letters will be sent to the boys’ parents once they have been selected.
Once again, we look forward to giving the boys the opportunity to display their hidden creative talents, with a fun competitive twist.

|News from the Sports Master|
This week's fixtures have got underway for Year 4 to 6. Year 4 travelled to Oratory Prep School for a triangular fixture with St John’s Beaumont. This gave all of our Year 4 pupils a fantastic afternoon with plenty of competitive experience and there were some fantastic results with the U9A remaining unbeaten through the afternoon.
The U11 teams took on The Beacon at home on Wednesday with the U11C and D teams recording convincing wins 6-3 and 7-2 respectively. I don’t often comment on individual pupils, however, Seb von Schmidt deserves a special mention as he scored a David Beckham-esque wonder goal from behind the halfway line as he helped his side to victory.
Our U10 teams will play The Beacon on Friday afternoon.
Next weeks fixtures -
Tue 28 Jan U9ABCDE v Chesham Prep - Home
Wed 29 Jan U11ABCDE v Chesham Prep - Home
Fri 31 Jan U10ABC v Chesham Prep - Away
Sat 1 Feb U9AB St Bernard’s Tournament - Away
