The Great Summer Event - Sunday 23 June
It’s now only two weeks until our Great Summer Event and the PTA are looking forward to seeing you for both the Summer Fete and the Circus for those of you who had already booked. Please note that you need to purchase tickets for the Summer Fete even if you already have tickets for the Circus. Further details are available on our website.
Higher Education and Alternatives Evening – Tuesday 18 June
We are looking forward to seeing parents on Tuesday 18 June at the Higher Education Evening. Students are also welcome to attend this evening. There will be two presentations, one beginning at 6pm which will be given by Helen Cole which is on the Alternatives to Higher Education, and the second one at 7pm which will be the introduction to Higher Education. If you haven’t already, please can you let us know which session you will attend, or if you would like to attend both sessions. Please email kyh@clairescourt.net.
Year 12 Summer Internal Exams week commencing Monday 10 June
Next week, Year 12 will commence their Summer internal exams. There will be an exam in most subjects, and sometimes two or three exams have been scheduled for a subject. Exams will be in the Hall on the College Avenue site. Students will not have study leave for the exams and will be attending lessons when they do not have an exam. The exam timetable has been emailed to parents.
