Drug Awareness Parents’ Talk - Thursday 17 January
(Venue: The Main Hall, College Avenue, SL6 6AW)

‘Substance abuse and addiction is not a spectator sport - eventually the whole family gets to play’. This is a very informative evening and we would encourage parents to attend.  Please find the letter here that was first emailed home on the 17 December.
Book Bags
We have a new durable drawstring book bag that will be available for boys to purchase at school via thumbprint at a cost of £5 from next week.  After half term this will also be available from Goyals, and may be personalised at no extra cost with your son’s initials.

Counselling Provision
We are currently reviewing and improving our Counselling Service, with access to Counsellors moving forwards being triaged by our School Nurses. More information to follow.

Exam Success
Jack Beever has recently passed his Grade 1 Drum Exam with Merit. Well done to Jack and to Mr Davis his teacher.

Tickets are now available for our fundraising event at College supporting the  building of an education centre in Brufut, Gambia - the School’s nominated global charity this year. Tickets include an Indian buffet, Gambian drumming and activities and much more - £30 adults/£20 students pupils and are available on the Payment Portal.  Further information about the event can be found on our website.

As the weather gets colder and more wintery, may we take this chance to remind our parents of the School’s Emergency Closure Guidance in case we need to close the School due to adverse weather conditions.

A reminder that as a full activities programme begins next week, the coach service will return to normal departure times.  For further information on the coach service please visit our website.

MFL Linguists of the Week (French)
