Speech Day
Our Senior Speech Day will take place at the Magnet on Thursday 20 September at 2.30pm and is a chance to celebrate the successes of the last school year.  All parents welcome, invites have been sent out to prize winners.

Library News
Claires Court Library Services has signed up to The Day, a daily current affairs service for schools. All members of the school community can use The Day at home. Access is free and automatic through the Claires Court Library Hub page or you can log in with username: ClairesCourt; password: theday. Pupils can also sign up for their free daily emails.

Jeans for Genes Day Friday 21 September
There will be £1 ‘fine’ donations for wearing jeans to school this day in support of this worthwhile charity.

Jane Marshall, Imperial College 
Jane Marshall from Imperial College came to speak to the Year 12 students today about the benefits of going to university – delivered in her inimitable style. Jane will be back again next week to begin interview preparation with Year 13 and also later in the academic year for interview practice with them. Year 12 will see Jane again in the summer term to talk about university applications and personal statements.

Students were celebrating today after an impressive set of results.  As a broad ability school it was pleasing to see a pass rate of 99%, 1.4% above the national average of 97.6%.
