|Welcome back, we hope that you have had a restful summer break and now raring to go for the new year.

|Welcome back to the new Autumn Term! Please don’t forget to look at the parent calendar for all forthcoming events and this weekly bulletin that gets emailed home every Friday (also available on our school website).|
All girls can wear their summer uniform up until the October half term holiday after which winter uniform is compulsory (and most welcome by then as the weather will be turning colder).
Coaches Next Week
Late coaches begin next week Monday 10 September. There will be a limited activities programme, but there will be supervised study available. The full activities schedule will begin week commencing 17 September.
Curriculum Statement Booklets
A copy of the Years 8, 9,10 & 11 booklets and welcome letter have been given to your daughter to bring home today. It contains important information about the term and year ahead.
Our Senior Speech Day will take place at the Magnet on Thursday 20 September at 2.30pm and is a chance to celebrate the successes of the last school year. All parents welcome, invites will be sent out this weekend to prize winners.
Monday 10 September
Netball ‘taster’ session from 4pm - 5.10pm Magnet Leisure Centre (SL6 8AW) - girls can be collected from the Magnet at 5.10pm or there will be a bus to drop girls off at Claires Court Senior Boys to enable them to get on their connecting bus home from the boys school as usual. This does not include the ‘girls only bus’.
Monday 10 September - Y9, Y10 & Y11 Building Resilience Parental Talk
Parents are invited to attend a talk being given by our School Counsellor, Rachael Williams at Claires Court Senior Boys.
Tuesday 11 September

Friday 21 September - Jeans for Genes Day
The girls can wear their jeans for the day for a ‘fine’ of £1 in support of this worthwhile charity (please no ripped jeans/denim shorts/cropped tops - if an item of clothing is deemed to be inappropriate then your daughter will be asked to change into her PE kit for the day).
