From the Office | Reminder
Don’t forget all boys will require a packed lunch on Sports Day, Friday 30 June.
Important Coach Information
On Wednesday 28 June there will be early buses (as per Friday timetable). The reason for this is that our Senior Boys have a New Boys evening, and as all the coaches depart from Senior Boys they need to have the site clear.
Fees Refund Scheme
Information has been emailed to all parents on this scheme which provides reassurance that fees will be covered in the case of absence through illness or injury subject to certain conditions. We encourage parents to join this scheme. Please complete the online form here by 4 July

There will be lots of refreshments on offer. Our 'Outback' bar will be open for business from noon, as will our Pimms and Prosecco tent. Our tea tent will serve hot drinks and a slice of cake and this year we have a number of international cuisines for you to choose from; wood-fired pizza, Indian delicacies and American hotdogs.
There is also a huge amount to entertain the children, including inflatables, go-karting, a train ride and lots of student run stalls.
A massive thank you to everyone who has donated a bottle, cakes or their time. If you haven't put your name down on a rota there is still time, just contact your class rep!
It promises to be a great afternoon.
Rabbits
The rabbit winners today are Sam Robertson (2G), Harry Newton (2G) and Tavish Gangwani (5v). Sam and Harry have impressed Mrs Wood their teacher this week with their kind and thoughtful attitude towards a friend. Tavish was nominated by more than one teacher for his polite, helpful approach to both staff and pupils . All three boys should be proud of their selection as they are deserving winners of the rabbit award this week.
Holiday Activities
A full range of Holiday Activities is now available for Summer 2017.
News From the Sports Master
On Monday 13 athletes from Junior Boys represented London West in the ISA National Athletics Championships - you can read the full report in the news below.
This has been an incredibly busy week for many, particularly for our Year 5 & 6 pupils. Last weekend saw the U10A & B teams travel to Weymouth and the U11B team travel to North Devon on Cricket tour. By all accounts both tours were a huge success with all teams returning home unbeaten. All pupils behaved and competed excellently and showed how good both on and off they field they can be.
The pupils who did not travel on tour did not miss out as they traveled to Longridge in Marlow for two days of outward bounds activities and camping. Pupils enjoyed a whole range of different activities from - kayaking, raft building, sailing, water zorbing, giant swinging, climbing, dragon boating, bell boating, go karting and leap of faith. It really was an action packed weekend for all of Year 5&6.
This week the the U10 & U11A, B&C teams took on the very strong Oratory Prep School. All pupils performed well but it was clear that some were still a little jetlagged from tour. The U10B&C teams performed extremely well both recording convincing wins against strong opposition.
On top of this the U9, U10 & U11 cricket teams have also been in action this week. The U9s travelled to Oratory Prep School with the U9Bs and Cs recording good wins to finish off their season. On Wednesday, the U10s played Chesham Prep and the U11s played Davenies in unbelievably hot conditions. As a result all games were shortened to limited overs. Despite the warm weather, the boys played admirably.
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as is possible to support our annual Sports Day, next Friday. |
