| From the Office | CLAIRES COURT SIXTH FORMERS - INTERVIEW QUESTIONS TO MRS MAY
Mark Hookham, correspondent from The Sunday Times, came to speak to some of our Sixth Form. We are expecting this piece to be in the Sunday Times on Sunday 14 May. Mark asked them “What do young people want from, or want to know about, Theresa May?” Their responses were varied:
Ed Axtell – “it would be nice to see the human side of our politicians for them to show more of the things they do that we can relate to”
Sally Price – “Is there ever a compromise between the PM’s personal beliefs and policy and if so how does she deal with it”
Camilla Slais – “What do you think you can do as PM to make more young people want to vote?”
And on a lighter note:
Flora Gault – “Do you watch Netflix?” and “Were you upset that Mary Berry left Bake Off?”
STUDY LEAVE
As Year 12 go into their study leave period, and Year 13 follow them in two weeks, their subject teachers will be available for help during their timetabled lesson times. Do remember to ask teachers for help when you need it, but do have an idea of the areas where you need help before coming to the lesson. Year 12 will need to sign in to College and out of College using the book in the Sixth Form office so we know who is on site. Please remember to wear lanyards at all times, even in exams, and be dressed appropriately, with ties for boys and modestly dressed for girls. Short skirts will not be allowed in the exam hall. If you are in any doubt, do wear trousers.
