REVISION SESSIONS FOR STUDENTS
All subject staff have identified time in lunchtimes and after school where they are running revision sessions for AS and A2 exams. These have been put into timetables which are on the notice boards in both Common Rooms.  We hope that the students  will attend and take advantage of these invaluable sessions.

MANAGING EXAM STRESS #2
Rachael Williams came into assembly for the second part of her presentation on dealing with exam stress. Last week we learned about the physical elements of stress, how they can affect students in exam conditions and how students can combat them.  In today’s presentation, Rachael spoke about recent studies which have shown how students can access  memory during exams and she is emailing out to all students a 3 minute exercise which will help them.

A huge “Thank You” from us all for all your wonderful contributions for the  Shoe box 4 Syria ‘Make a Child Smile’ charity. We managed to fill eleven shoeboxes with your donations and these will certainly make super presents for the children who receive them.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF - ADDITIONAL ON ROAD PARKING AVAILABLE
Parents will be pleased to hear that new parking restrictions on College Avenue have provided the school with additional short term parking (30 minutes). Both sides of the road are now available for short term parking.  For the safety of our pupils please can parents drop off and pick up on College Avenue, (entry via the Nursery entrance gate) and avoid driving into the school, particularly the front at our very busy times.
