PTA Firework and Halloween Spectacular - Saturday 9 October
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Payment Portal at the discounted cost of £25 per family (2 adults, 2 children), or £9/adult and £5/child, and includes a burger or hotdog. Once purchased, wristbands will be available for you to collect on the night at the gate. (NB. You can buy full priced tickets on the night, but food will not be guaranteed).
 
Further information can be found in this poster, but please do book your tickets ASAP so we can confirm numbers for catering.
 
We look forward to seeing you on the night to enjoy the Year 10/11 stalls, bar, live music and silent fireworks!

Volunteers required @ Fireworks please!
Please contact Tina Webster via c.e.webster@btinternet.com if you are able to help at the fireworks for any period of time, thank you. It’s a great way to meet other parents especially if you are new to the school.

Reporting your son’s absence from school

Please report any absence to school by 9.30am, either by emailing seniorboys@clairescourt.com or calling the school office on 01628 327600. We do need you to be in touch every day of an absence to keep us informed and updated on your son’s situation. Thank you for your help.

School Photographs - Years 8, 10 and 11
Boys in years 8, 10 and 11 should have brought home the Tempest Order Form for their individual school photos on Monday 20 September. All orders and payment can be made online directly with Tempest, and for free delivery via school, orders need to be placed within 10 days. After 1 October, a £5 P&P home delivery cost will apply.

Year 9 Photographs 
Unfortunately we were not able to complete photographs of all year groups on the day, so we will be rearranging another date for the Year 9 school photographs shortly. We will be in touch to advise you accordingly. 

Lateral Flow Tests
Please remember to ensure your son is Lateral Flow Testing twice a week. Whilst you are able to source kits yourself, we will be sending all boys home with a pack of seven tests today. You do not need to report results to school, just to the GOV.UK website

Nasal Flu Spray 13 October - Consent
Please find the letter from the Berkshire Health Immunisations team regarding the Nasal Flu Spray for Years 7 - 11 scheduled to take place on Wednesday 13 October. Please complete this electronic consent form as soon as possible, to either provide consent or opt-out, using the school code BK110153B. This must be completed by 12pm Tuesday 12 October at the latest. Senior Boys Library
The school library is now open before school from 8.30am, after school until 4.30pm, at lunchtime and all breaktimes. Please remind your son that he is welcome there at any of these times to read or look for a book, and our new Librarian would love to meet him.

All fixtures against Dr Challoner’s tomorrow, Saturday 25 September, are postponed due to ‘rock solid’ pitches, and as a result there will be no school rugby taking place this Saturday morning.
