PTA Firework and Halloween Spectacular - Saturday 9 October
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Payment Portal at the discounted cost of £25 per family (2 adults, 2 children), or £9/adult and £5/child, and includes a burger or hotdog. Once purchased, wristbands will be available for you to collect on the night at the gate. (NB. You can buy full priced tickets on the night, but food will not be guaranteed).
Further information can be found in this poster, but please do book your tickets ASAP so we can confirm numbers for catering.
We look forward to seeing you on the night to enjoy the Year 10/11 stalls, bar, live music and silent fireworks!
Volunteers required @ Fireworks please!
Please contact Tina Webster via c.e.webster@btinternet.com if you are able to help at the fireworks for any period of time, thank you. It’s a great way to meet other parents especially if you are new to the school.
Artist of the Week
Please see attached gallery of our weekly artists. Year 3 and 4 have been looking at the work of Keith Haring, Mr Doddle and Greg Mike. They will be entering a comic strip competition shortly. Year 5 and 6 have been looking at portraiture.
Rabbit Awards
Awarded for kindness, helpfulness and compassion doing the right thing without being asked, it is what makes our school a wonderful environment. This week our rabbits have been awarded to Fred L (Year 5).
Bike to School Week - 27 September to 1 October
Be part of the Bike to School Week community - anyone cycling to school or using sustainable methods of transport will be awarded 2 house points per day.

Thank you for your support last Friday. Our Junior Boys raised a total of £166.
Pupil Achievements
Ollie took part in his Men's Artistic Gymnastics Club Grade 2 competition at Portsmouth Gymnastics Club on Sunday, competing against gymnasts from across the Southern region. He put in a fantastic performance to come 3rd overall and qualify to represent the South in the National Finals in November.
Tempest Individual Pupil Photos taken on Thursday 16 September
Boys in Reception to Year 6 were given their order form to bring home last week. All orders and payment are to be made online directly with Tempest, and for free delivery via school, the order should be placed within 10 days. After this time a £5 P&P home delivery fee will apply.
