| | From the Office | A message from the Executive Head
Dear Parents and Guardians
I hope your children have enjoyed their first full week at school. It has certainly been very busy! It has been such a joy to be able to return to a more 'normal' routine in all of the Divisions, but we are aware that the pandemic is still very much with us, and will still have an impact on our operational work.
To that end, please can I ask you to read my note to parents with children in Year 7 and above which can be found here, which explains the school’s position with reference to vaccinating 12-15 year old children.
The Headteachers have plenty to report on so I will bid you farewell and wish you a lovely weekend.
Best wishes
Justin Spanswick
Executive Head Teacher

Year 9 Parents Open Evening - Wednesday 22 September
As previously communicated in the summer term, when the Year 8 Parents Evening had to be cancelled, Year 9 boys and parents were invited to Senior Boys on Wednesday 22 September. The evening will start at 6pm in the Sports Hall with a short presentation from Mr Wilding and Mr Hammerton. You are then invited to walk around the school, see your son’s classrooms and his new teachers for the year, and to informally meet his new Year 9 Form Tutor. There will be a limited amount of parking available once the buses have left. If you do park in the playground, please do not drive onto site prior to 5.45pm, and once full, parents should please park locally. Your son may remain at school after his activities/study, but maybe send him in with an extra snack to keep him going!
