Any Year 12 who is still not sure about which course to take at university will find many course webinars and meets to look at. There are various apprenticeship roles available too. Our features pages include more on the Euros 2020, The start of Wimbledon and strawberry recipes!

Year 13 U101 sessions
Year 13s were back in school again this week to continue their U101 sessions. Subject teachers helped the students with more in depth study for their university courses and helped them prepare for university. Life skills this week included learning about finance, credit cards and interest rates from the Metro Bank. Mr Wareing and Mrs Rogers contend with the legacy projects - the Recipe book and artwork are looking good!

Alexander Devine - Donations still accepted - #Rocktheblue
We had a “wear it blue” themed day on Thursday 24 June for our Sixth Form charity, Alexander Devine Children’s hospice. Students were encouraged to wear something fun and blue for a minimum £2 donation to the charity and they did not disappoint! We are still accepting donations on Monday as many students forgot. Please can you check that your son or daughter has a little cash to bring into school for this if they haven't already donated.

Year 12 Higher Education Parent Forum - Wednesday 30 June 1.30pm- 2.15pm
The Higher Education Evening planned for Tuesday 22 June has now been moved to Wednesday 30 June from 1.30pm - 2.15pm. A letter will be sent to Year 12 parents next week with the meeting link. We hope to see you at the meet.

Lateral Flow tests
Year 13s who will be attending the following two events must have taken a Lateral Flow test on Tuesday 29 June or Wednesday 30 June and received a negative result for them to be able to attend the Farewell and Afternoon tea. This must be scanned and emailed to Mrs Hall on kyh@clairescourt.net by 4pm Wednesday 30 June. If this is not received by that date, entry to the events will not be allowed until a negative result can be shown.

Year 13 Farewell - Thursday 1 July
The Year 13 farewell will take place on Thursday 1 July, now moved to the Sixth Form Centre, and will run from 9.30am to 12noon. The theme for fancy dress is a ‘sporting’ theme and we will finish with a BBQ lunch at 11.30am. There will be fun, laughter, lots of reminiscing and no doubt a few tears, as we remember the last incredible two years with Year 13.

Sparkling Afternoon Tea - Friday 2 July 4pm - 6pm
Sparkling afternoon tea for Year 13 on Friday 2 July will be at the Crowne Plaza in Marlow. The dress code is smart (lounge suits and cocktail dresses) and please do not have a big lunch because the tea there is HUGE and wonderful! It will be our final opportunity to say goodbye.

FutureFocus Week for Year 12 - from Monday 12 July

On Thursday 15 July, there will be a Watersports & Celebration of Year 12 day at Summerleaze Lake. You have received a separate letter regarding this day.
