Year 5 Internal Discovery Event (Friday 2 July) - Postponed
We are unfortunately unable to offer the planned Discovery Day, for our Year 5 boys to experience Senior Boys, due to the new RBWM guidelines. However, we are planning to arrange a day as soon as we are able and will let you know in due course.

Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Cricket
The U9 and U10’s cricket fixtures have been cancelled next week, only the U11s have a fixture. Please see the information below. Team sheets are published via the school sports website and will be available from Friday the week before the fixture via this link - Team Sheets, using the code - CCsport2020

Sun Hats - Sunscreen - Water Bottles
As warmer weather approaches, just a reminder that your son needs to be applied with sun cream before coming to school and wear a CCJB sports cap which you can purchase from either Goyals or Hawkinsports or alternatively a cricket sun hat. Can you also send him in with a named water bottle please.

Hawkinsport - Claires Court Shopping Days
Hawkinsport have scheduled appointments on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 July specifically for Claires Court parents www.hawkinsport.co.uk/content/appointment-days

Tempest Class Photo Order Information
We are still awaiting the information from the school photographer, Tempest, but we will forward the details as soon as we receive them.

Late Collection
If for any reason you are running late please contact the school office (01628 327400) to inform us and collect your son from the school office.

Sailing/Paddling Activities - Tuesday 29 June (Last session)
Please note that the final after school sailing/paddling session will be on Tuesday 29 June due to a number of activities running on all three sites on Tuesday 6 July. All other activities will run as normal at Junior Boys.

Lions Club Swimarathon 
Unfortunately due to Covid the Lions Club Swimarathon has been cancelled at Braywick Leisure Centre on Sunday 4 July.

Chess
For those not planning to rush straight off for the summer, there will be an over the board tournament on Sunday 18 July run by Joseph Conlon over in Oxford. The entry form is https://forms.gle/d2pbLyxocPJsfU9QA.

Nigel Dennis is also planning to restart the Maidenhead Junior Chess Club on Saturday mornings as soon as possible. This club, run at CCJB, is excellent for players to improve their chess skills and I would recommend it for beginners and intermediate players.

Rabbit Awards
Awarded for kindness, helpfulness and compassion doing the right thing without being asked, it is what makes our school a wonderful environment. This week our rabbits have been awarded to Sammy W (4C) and Cole K (6B).
