Mrs Kirby's words Lent week 8 |
 | From Mrs Ainsley
As always, Our World Book Day was a great success. We love to do it as it encourages such a passion for books and the children gain so much from the activities and discussions created at school by their teachers.

From the office | A message from the Executive Head
Dear Parents and Guardians
Thank you so much for your support over the past few months, and especially in this last week with our final (hopefully!) few days of home learning, and with our Lateral Flow testing for Year 7 children and above.
We cannot wait to see your children on Monday.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes
Justin Spanswick
Executive Head Teacher
Bulletin Survey
We are constantly looking to make improvements to the way we communicate and provide information. This Bulletin is the core weekly message to all families by email, which covers important school notices, events, key dates, news and head teacher's words. We appreciate your feedback so we can ensure it is reaching you and providing the information you need, in a format that is effective.
We would be most grateful if you could please take a few minutes to answer this questionnaire (or copy and paste this address http://schl.cc/bq) by our extended deadline of Monday 8 March. The form is anonymous and does not collect email addresses. Responses will be aggregated to give a consensus of opinion rather than individual views, to see if there are any improvements or adjustments we can make.
Our condolences
It is with great sadness that we write to let you know that Mrs Pauline Crawley passed away on Thursday this week at the age of 65 years. She retired in April 2019 having spent the previous 12 years working in Claires Court Nursery and was a much valued and loved member of staff who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this terribly sad time.
Monday 8 March - Return to School/Nursery for all pupils.
Upgrade from 2Simple to Evidence me
Please see the letter here regarding the changes to 2Simple - this information was also emailed home earlier this week.
Polite reminders
- Please ensure all snacks and lunches are free from nuts and kiwis
- Please name all clothing worn and brought into school, including shoes
- Please can children wear shoes which they can put on and take off themselves. No laces please.
