You will receive a letter about sport after half term, but in summary rugby will commence, so there will be one football and one rugby session each week and all pupils will need to bring a mouthguard to all games sessions. Saturday sport for November will change to rugby, timings and venues as follows:
Provision can be made for Years 9 and 10 should there be sufficient numbers.
As you know your son is required to wear a mouthguard while playing Rugby and Hockey at school. Many pupils are happy to use the ‘Boil and Bite’ style mouthguards available from sports shops. But others prefer the superior protection and comfort of the custom moulded style, normally fitted by your dentist or our supplier (Titan Mouthguards) during a school visit.
from our custom mouthguard supplier. Unlike previous years we will not be arranging a visit from Titan for obvious reasons, but instead you will be able to order a home impression kit and book a video call with one of their technicians if you need help making the impression, before sending the impression off to their laboratory. You will then receive the custom fitted mouthguard directly to your home in the post.
