Independent Schools Council Covid-19 survey 2020
Thank you to those parents and guardians who have taken part in the Independent Schools Council (ISC) Covid-19 parent survey 2020. The survey is designed to help our school and the wider independent school sector understand what parents and pupils experienced during the Covid-19 lockdown last term.

If you haven’t taken part and would like to do so, we would really appreciate your views in this independent and anonymous survey. You can complete the survey online using this link.

Organisation and forgotten items
We are receiving some items being dropped at school throughout the day and in normal times this is not a problem. However, in the current Covid climate we are concerned about the risk of items being passed from one person to another through the office.

Obviously, if she forgets her food in the rush to leave the house, we will of course ensure your daughter gets that. However, she will be able to cope without almost everything else and it will help her to remember things in the future. Teachers will always be understanding if the odd thing is forgotten occasionally. A ‘drop box’ is available outside the Reception Office but please can you ensure items are essential and clearly named.

Headphones
Please can we remind you that your daughter needs to bring her own headphones into school as part of her school equipment and they should be available in all lessons. Please also make sure that Chromebooks are fully charged each night.

Headteacher and parent online surgery
If you wish to ‘meet’ with Mr Richards on a Tuesday morning between 9.15am and 10.15am please contact Helen Phipps at hep@clairescourt.com so a time slot can be allocated to you. He is happy to help with any issue or concern during this surgery, equally, he also loves to hear when things are going well.

School uniform
Just a reminder that a full winter uniform is required to be worn after the October half term.
