Open morning - Thursday 30 January
All our schools are hosting open mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am on Thursday 30 January, which is the perfect way to get an insight for the next step on the educational ladder.

Annual General Meeting of the Claires Court PTA
Join us on Friday 7 February from 9am to hear from our Pupils Voice how they benefit from the donations they receive from the PTA, as well as their review of the PTA year.
Those present will be invited to elect the main board and committees. This is a great opportunity to meet those who work within the PTA to support the School. If you would like to join one of the committees, please contact your school office who will share your details.

Vacancy: PTA Treasurer
The main purpose of this role is to support the PTA with key events throughout the year, by approving expenditure, raising cheques, organising floats and collecting cash raised, and to produce the accounts for the Main Board. This is a part time role, requiring approximately 4 hours a week, including support at school events. Applicants are asked to submit a letter of application by 12pm Monday 3rd February 2020 to clairescourthr@clairescourt.com outlining their reasons for applying and how their previous experience complements the role. |

News from the Sports Master
With no fixtures in this first full week the pupils have been working hard to improve their skills while the coaches have been working with the pupils to try and ensure that everyone is ready for next week. With fixtures starting next week please ensure your son has shin pads in his Games bag as he will not be able to play without them. Our fixtures start for all teams next week with the following:

News from the Chess Master
Well done to all those Claires Court boys who played in the Under 9 team tournament on Saturday afternoon. Maidenhead East and Maidenhead West took on Sussex and Buckinghamshire over a three round, all play all competition.
Whilst Sussex came out on top, the two Maidenhead teams were within touching distance, finishing joint second. The picture shows Jay S, Ben N and Kanishka S. Not shown: Tom A.
If your son would like to sign up for the Delancey Chess tournament would they please do so on Monday at the latest as I will be processing the entries early next week. The games will be played on Mondays at first break. The sign up sheet is attached to the chess noticeboard.
