Claires Court Chronicle
The school newspaper - Claires Court Chronicle - will be on sale next week (Monday and Tuesday) for pupils to buy. The newspaper is available in black & white for 50p or a colour copy for 70p. All money raised will be donated to The One Can Trust.

Late Sign In
If your child is late please remember to sign them in at the School Office.

Mobile Phones
If your son brings a mobile phone to school, please can you make sure that they sign it in at the School Office in the morning and sign back out at the end of the school day.

Rugby Photos
Reminder that if you wish to purchase an U9 Rugby Team photo, please return your order form to the office by Monday 16 December at the very latest.

Christmas Card Post Box
The post box is now in reception should your son wish to send cards to his form.

News from the Sports Master
With all external fixtures wrapped up last week, everyone has turned their attention to House matches this week. Year 3 and 4 kicked things off on Tuesday. Despite the terrible weather there was strong parental support for both Year groups. For the pupils this is often one of the most hotly anticipated days of the term and all Houses clubbed together to put on a fantastic display of rugby. Year 6 played on Wednesday and Year 5 will complete their House matches on Friday and results will follow. The results of the completed Year groups are as follows -

News from the Chess Master
Our Autumn term tournament was held on the afternoon of Monday 9 December and was a great success.
40 pupils entered - a quarter of them from Junior Girls (a new and very welcome high).
 
Congratulations to all those who took part, especially those playing in a tournament for the first time.
Every point scored by pupils earned points for their House.
