Year 11 Academic Mentoring - Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 November
You will have received a letter by email about the Academic Mentoring sessions for Year 11 on the 5 and 6 November. Please return the sheet indicating which appointment times you are available for, to your son’s form tutor by Monday 14 October. 

Schools' Christmas Card Competition - Stanley Spencer Gallery
You are invited to take part in this exciting competition to develop Christmas Cards for the Stanley Spencer Gallery, who are seeking four new Christmas Card designs.  The Competition is open to all year groups and the deadline is 18 October. Please find out more in the Art Room.

New Water Fountain
Having introduced biodegradables in our catering outlets across the School, our aim is to further reduce single use plastics, and as such we have installed a new water fountain in the sports hall, enabling pupils and staff to fill their own water bottles. This new fountain tells us how many plastic bottles we have saved from going to recycle or landfill, so let’s see how many we can reach!

The Diamond Jubilee Ball will be held on 6 June 2020 - more information to follow!

Year 11- Dominic Panton-Reynolds for working really hard in each lesson

MFL Linguists of the Week (German)
Jay Bhatti, John Getley, James Smale and Felix Stevens (Year 11) for helping in the European Day of Languages Assembly.

Scientist of the Week
Scientist of the week goes to Andrew Paul (Year 10) for his outstanding work on equations in Chemistry lessons and to Tom Hull (Year 10) for his effective revision and general enthusiasm in Science lessons.
