 | | Senior Boys Bulletin | | Mr Wilding's Words Autumn 2 | | As one of the three writers/creators of the secondary/sixth form timetable, it is always a relief to get to the end of the first full working week to see that the schedules for 100 staff and 600 students across our two sites seems to function... | |

| | From the Office | Parking
A plea from a local resident - for the safety of your children, please do NOT park on the double yellow lines at the crossroads of Ray Mill Road East/Ray Park Avenue/Sheephouse Road. The yellow lines are there for a reason, and if you wait for your son on them, you are obscuring the vision of other drivers / pedestrians and putting children unnecessarily at risk. Thank you for your support.
Curriculum Statement Booklets
These should have made their way home via ‘boy post’ on Tuesday for Years 8-11, please let us know if you did not receive it.
Individual School Photographs
You should also have received your son’s individual school photograph this week. Completed order forms should be returned to reception by 20 September.
Lost Property
There is an unclaimed mobile phone at reception, which Mrs Tarr has now had for three days. If it may be your son’s, please ask him to go to reception and check.
Activities
The full Activities programme begins next week from 16 September.
Thursday 19 September 2.30pm - Senior Speech Day at the Magnet
ALL boys, including prize winners, MUST return to Senior Boys before going home. Our expected arrival time back at school is 4.45 - 5.00pm, and boys can be collected from then. There will be late coaches as usual, but there will be no activities or study due to the later return time. Boys will have ‘free time’ between returning to school and coaches departing supervised by the leadership team.
Friday 20 September - Jeans for Genes Day
PLEASE remind your son to take his locker key out of his blazer and put it in his jeans pocket and bring it along with his £1.00 fine for wearing your jeans to school for this worthwhile charity.

Year 10 Wednesday 16 October
