News from the Sports Master
A huge welcome back to all pupils and parents.  We as staff are all looking forward to the rugby season ahead.  This year, fixture card will not be handed out, however, all fixtures can be found on the schools sport website -

https://www.clairescourtsport.com/

With our first fixtures coming up shortly, it was great to see so many Year 4,5&6 pupils turn up to pre-season training. To help prepare pupils for these fixtures afterschool rubgy training for Years 4-6 will start next week. Year 5&6 both train on Tuesday’s while Year 4 will be training on a Thursday. The first fixtures of the term are:

Fri 13 Sept         U10 A,B,C v SJB                          Home
Tue 17 Sept       U9 A,B v Davenies                      Home
Tue 17 Sept       U9 C,D,E v Davenies                  Away
Wed 18 Sept     U11 A,B,C,D,E v St. George’s     Home

All pupil’s in Year 4,5&6 will need a gum shield for every Games lesson! With this in mind, we would like all pupils to be responsible for carrying and looking after their own gumshield; however, we are aware that these often get mislaid. If you are able to provide a second, pre-moulded gumshield in a named box we will store them in our office, so if the original is misplaced, your son will still be able to take part.

We look forward to seeing many parents on the sidelines supporting their sons and the school through the course of this term.
