Last Week of Summer Term - early buses.
Friday 12 July - Last day of Summer Term
School Reports/EOT Mailing will be posted home on Friday 12 July.
Buses home are operating at the revised times to coincide with the early finish.
Sixth Form - 12.00noon finish
FutureFocus week - From Monday 8 July
Next week’s FutureFocus programme is packed full of interesting and informative events and we have several outside speakers scheduled to speak to the students. Monday and Wednesday are full of sessions on university courses, the applications process, apprenticeships and employability skills. Students are expected to be in smart business dress on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Tuesday is Induction Day for the new Year 12 students from September, so ONLY student leaders are required to attend school on Tuesday. Everyone else should be making sure that they have registered online for UCAS, should be preparing initial drafts of their personal statement or researching apprenticeships.
Thursday is Sailing Day at Summerleaze lake from 10am and you will have received a separate notification about this. I still require consent slips from several parents for this. Friday will be target setting and reflections time in form groups to establish smart targets for September. These will be sent home with the Year 12 reports at the end of term. School will finish at 12 noon on Friday 12 July.
Monday 2 September - Sixth Form Registration day
Sixth Form will attend school on Monday 2 September in smart business dress. The new Year 12 will have a full day of registration and study skills workshops and will be in school from 9am-4pm. Year 13 will be in school to register, also in smart business dress, and should be in at 10am for an hour. This is a very important morning and everyone needs to attend.
Term will begin for all Sixth Form on Thursday 5 September.
