News from the Sports Master
Last weekend saw both our U10A&B and U11A teams travel away on cricket tour. While the weather meant that only small amounts of cricket were played, all the teams were still able to have a very enjoyable time. All pupils represented the school both on and off the field admirably and with honour.
This week has almost been a total wash out as the weather has been diabolical! All the U9 fixtures were cancelled on Tuesday. On Wednesday the U11 teams tried to persevere against Oratory Prep, however, the rain just became too heavy for cricket to continue and matches were abandoned at the end of the first innings. The U10 teams had more luck playing away and despite playing in the rain managed to finish their matches. The U10B & U10C both recorded goodwins and the U10A lost narrowly by a few runs.
