From the Office | That new campus...
As you may have seen from local social media, our plans for a new campus are not going to be determined by the Council until after the local elections in May. When we submitted our applications in December 2017 little did we realise then that we would still be waiting for a planning decision in 2019. Whilst this is enormously disappointing and frustrating, we have been working closely with statutory authorities and the Council over the past 15 months and have made significant progress. We are delighted to inform you that the plans at Cannon Lane have received the green light from:
- Environment Agency
- Highways England
- Natural England
- Sport England
Soon it will be up to to a panel of newly-elected councillors to decide our future, so until then, we thank everyone (and there have been over 2,000 of you) for taking the time so far to support us; your efforts to show that parents and local people support our proposals have had a very positive impact. Hopefully in the near future we will be informing you of the committee date and once again you will join us in force to show the strength of support for the best possible future for Claires Court.
