AS WINTER APPROACHES
As the weather gets colder, may we take this chance to remind our parents of the School’s Emergency Closure Guidance in case we need to close the School due to adverse weather conditions.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR WINTER COAT COLLECTION
This winter we are supporting our local charity the Brett Foundation, by collecting clothes for the homeless in our community.  Any winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves and outerwear welcome. Please see the poster for more information. All items should be brought to the School office.
 
LAST WEEK OF TERM ARRANGEMENTS
Early coaches will run on Monday and Tuesday, departing at 4.30pm.  The second link will still operate from Junior Boys at 5.00pm for Extended Care at College Avenue. On Wednesday 19 December the coaches will depart at 12.30pm.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Wednesday 19 December 2018 - last day of the Autumn term.
Please note that the day will end for Sixth Form at 12.15pm.

CHRISTMAS HAMPER DONATIONS
This Christmas we will be making up Christmas Hampers for the Salvation Army to distribute to local elderly and needy families.  We are hoping that Sixth Form students will be able to donate boxes or packs of chocolates.  These can be brought into school until Wednesday 12 December 2018 and we have collection boxes in the Sixth Form area for donations. Many thanks.

VISITING SPEAKER –  Alison Bloomfield, Oxford Media and Business School
Alison Bloomfield came to talk to our Y12 students about Oxford Media and Business School (OMBS) - a leading independent vocational Business and IT training college offering Executive PA courses, business studies and gap year courses.  OMBS allows students to experience university lifestyle for three terms in the heart of Oxford. They are continually assessed from day one and no external exams are set.  At the end of each course Diplomas are awarded to students. Students develop excellent IT and management skills making them high calibre candidates for careers in property, fashion, marketing, travel, sport, HR and PR. Graduates have a 98% job success rate!

SIXTH FORM CHRISTMAS PARTY – Thursday 13 December 7.30-11.30pm
We are all looking forward to celebrating at the Christmas party after the practice exams. This will be held on Thursday 13 December, 7.30pm-11.30pm at Magnolia Park in the Hughenden Valley, HP14 4LA. The theme is Winter Wonderland.
