FROM THE OFFICE | IMPORTANT NOTICE: EMAIL HACKING AND ATTEMPTED FRAUD
Please read this notice from Lloyds Bank regarding the targeting parents of children attending independent schools in an email fraud campaign. We would like to reassure parents that whilst we are confident in our systems security, new threats and methods are always being exploited by hackers. We continue to bank with Natwest and have not changed, nor do we intend to change our banking details in the coming future. We will also never send out new payment instructions via email. Therefore, if you receive any suspicious emails appearing to be from the School, please forward them onto your School office, for further investigation.
TRAVELLING BOOK FAIR - WEDNESDAY 21/THURSDAY 22 NOVEMBER
We will be hosting the Travelling Book Fair in the Senior Library. All students will bring home a letter and a leaflet at the end of the week inviting you to visit the Fair, and explaining the safe and easy payment options available on the website: www.bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk. This includes an excellent facility to purchase pre-paid book vouchers which may be redeemed at the Fair. The Fair will be open all day until 5.15pm including break and lunchtime. There will be a terrific selection of fiction and non-fiction books as well as some fun stationery to buy.
Come and start your Christmas shopping with us – every sale provides commission for free books for our Libraries!
