Update on Year 12
Year 12 had a very successful Parents' Evening yesterday. Feedback was very positive, showing that the Year 12 students have had a very productive first few weeks to the year. Subject teachers are particularly impressed with those students demonstrating a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to learning. During tutorial time, the focus has been on how to increase the growth mindset as grades will improve as a result.
Update on Year 13
Year 13 welcomed Jane Marshall from Imperial College, London, to present how to approach and deliver a great interview. Jane gave the students some really useful tips and more may be found here on the UCAS website. She will return after half term to do more faculty based interview practice. Year 13 continue to work on their UCAS applications. They must hand in a hard copy of their Personal Statement to their tutor as early as possible next week. Most students still need to check their applications for accuracy and they need to be completed by 5 November.
