| FROM THE OFFICE | Speech Day
Our Senior Speech Day will take place at the Magnet on Thursday 20 September at 2.30pm and is a chance to celebrate the successes of the last school year. All parents welcome, invites have been sent out to prize winners.
Pupils who do not have parents at Prize Giving will walk back up to school to catch onward coaches or meet parents at approximately 5pm.
Library News
Claires Court Library Services has signed up to The Day, a daily current affairs service for schools. All members of the school community can use The Day at home. Access is free and automatic through the Claires Court Library Hub page or you can log in with username: ClairesCourt; password: theday.
Pupils can also sign up for their free daily emails.
Tempest Individual Photos
Your daughter will be bringing home her order form for the photograph recently taken - if you wish to purchase this the deadline for returning your order form/payment is Wednesday 26 September. They are being collected by Tempest the following day. Orders received after this date will be returned to your daughter for parents to post direct to Tempest themselves.
Senior Girls Study - G7
Just a reminder that study is not ‘flexi-study’ - the idea is for the girls to start/complete any homework/revision during that hour long period that ends at 5.10pm. If you need to add your daughter to study on the odd occasions they can just turn up.

Friday 21 September - Jeans for Genes Day
The girls can wear their jeans for the day for a ‘fine’ of £1 in support of this worthwhile charity (please no ripped jeans/denim shorts/cropped or strappy tops - if an item of clothing is deemed to be inappropriate then your daughter will be asked to change into her PE kit for the day).
Friday 21 September - Year 11 Only - David Hyner Talk - Claires Court Senior Boys Sports Hall
All G11 are to arrive at Claires Court Senior Boys for an 8.45am start in the Senior Boys Sports Hall - Letter for reference
Parent Drop Off
If you normally drop your daughter off at Senior Girls, College Avenue in the morning please take them direct to Claires Court Senior Boys for 8.45am. Can we ask that you do not drive onto the Senior Boys site as it will be extremely busy with coaches but drop your daughter outside and ask her to make her way to the Sports Hall.
G11 who travel to school using the coach service
All coaches will stop at Claires Court Senior Boys - please remind your daughter to get off here and go to the Sports Hall. Do not travel up to the Senior Girls.
College Special
The only exception is the College Special and an email will be sent home to those G11 girls who use this school coach.
