| | | FROM THE OFFICE | Welcome back to the New Autumn Term! Please don’t forget to look at the parent calendar for all forthcoming events and our weekly bulletin that gets emailed home every Friday (also available on our school website).
Extended Care
This week our new Extended Care Provision commenced. Our Breakfast Club now includes a breakfast food offering, and our After School Care offers an afternoon tea. We have also changed our booking process at College Avenue for Junior Parents. For Nursery parents, we still ask that Mrs Wilding is informed of your child’s after school arrangements each day.
The reason for the change is to enable us to facilitate our food offer including dietary requirements, and to ensure that we have enough time to organise the staffing in order to adhere with staff:child ratio requirements.
This has all started very well and we would like to thank all of our parents for their support of our new booking system. We have had a couple of technical hiccups which should be fixed over the coming days, and thank you again all for your cooperation and patience. In light of feedback, we have adjusted our online booking (for Junior Parents) so that once your child has been booked in, this will stand for the whole term. Any necessary changes can be made up to 48 hours before the booked session online, anything after this needs to be communicated with your child’s Form Teacher or School Office. If in doubt, please let your Form Teacher or Room Leader know what you would like your child’s after school arrangements to be.

Nursery Hot Lunches
As part of our nursery offering a hot lunch is now available. If you would like your child to have a hot lunch, please speak to Mrs Wilding confirming your regular termly bookings for these. If you require a casual ‘ad hoc’ lunch please let Mrs Wilding know at least 24 hours prior. The Nursery menus are available on our website
Friday 21 September - Jeans for Genes Day
All Nursery children who attend on this day can wear their favourite clothes or fancy dress outfit for a £1 ‘fine’ which will be donated to this worthwhile charity. |
