| | From the Office | Introductions
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself, as I have just started as the new School Secretary at Claires Court Senior Boys. My name is Amy Hewitt and it is a pleasure to be part of the Claires Court family. I look forward to meeting you, speaking to you and being in contact with you in due course. Year 7 Rugby
There is rugby coaching for all the new Year 7 boys at Maidenhead Rugby Club on Saturday 8 September 9.15am - 11.45am and we look forward to seeing you all there.
Coaches Next Week
Late coaches begin next week Monday 10 September. There will be a limited activities programme, but there will be supervised study available. The full activities schedule will begin week commencing 17 September.
Building Resilience Talks
Monday 10 September at Senior Boys for Years 9, 10 and 11 parents.
Wednesday 12 September at Senior Girls (College Avenue) for Years 7 and 8.
The timings for both are 7.00pm - 8.30pm.

Senior Speech Day
Our Senior Speech Day will take place at the Magnet on Thursday 20 September at 2.30pm and is a chance to celebrate the successes of the last school year. All parents welcome, invites will be sent out this weekend to prize winners.
Jeans for Genes Day
On Friday 21 September the boys are invited to wear non-ripped jeans and come into school in mufti for a £1 donation to this worthwhile charity.
Curriculum Statement Booklets
The curriculum statement booklets for Years 8, 9,10 & 11 and welcome letter are being distributed today. Year 8 will be bringing them home and Years 9-11 are being sent by post. It contains important information about the term and year ahead.

Pupils at Claires Court were celebrating today as they picked up their GCSE results. Of the diverse broad ability cohort, 86.3% achieved five 4 grades, compared to the national average of 66.9%, with 26.3% of the girls and boys grades at 9-7... | Stars Of Today And Of The Future
Students were celebrating today after an impressive set of results. As a broad ability school it was pleasing to see a pass rate of 99%, 1.4% above the national average of 97.6%.
