UWS Visit by Jack Clark
Jack Clark from UWS gave a very inspirational presentation to the Sixth Form about Pong Tek school in Cambodia. The students commented on the great differences between their educational experiences and those of the students in Pong Tek. They were fascinated as to how, within a few weeks of being open, the school had changed the lives of the villagers, especially the girls who were now in school and able to get jobs and who now were marrying much later than before. The students are busily coming up with ideas to raise money for the school.
