As the weather gets colder, may we take this chance to remind our parents of the School’s Emergency Closure Guidance in case we need to close the School due to adverse weather conditions.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Our wonderful kitchen staff have been making preparations for our festive Christmas Lunch which will take place on Friday 8 December. Take a look at the Senior & Sixth Form Christmas Lunch Menu
This year, you only need to let us know if your child
- will not be eating Christmas lunch and is bringing a packed lunch
- has dietary needs we need to consider.
If this is the case, please complete the Senior Girls Christmas Lunch form by Wednesday 29 November.
CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY - Friday 8 December
Please wear your Christmas Jumper for ‘Save the Children’ - £1 donation in support of this worthwhile charity.
CHRISTMAS HAMPER DONATIONS
We will be holding our usual collection of non-perishable items that we can make up Christmas Hampers for the Salvation Army to distribute to local elderly and needy families. We are accepting donations until Thursday 7 December. We request the following items:
Years 7 & 8 - Luxury Items - Toiletries
Year 9 & 10 - Tinned Food/Preserves
Year 11 - Novelty Items such as Christmas Crackers/Table Games/Tree Ornaments
G10 ELVES - Friday 8 December
G10 have been asked to dress up as Elves to assist with Father Christmas’s arrival and help serve the younger pupils in the Dining Hall on Christmas lunch day. The girls don’t have to spend a lot on outfits but bring into school red/green/white outfits with stripey/bright red or green tights. The more festive the better - but no midriff tops or inappropriate dress please! Thank you for helping make this day the usual traditional fun day for all especially our younger children.

Please note that the following divisions will end their school day at:
NURSERY - Normal hours 8.30am - 3.30pm with After School Care in operation for Nursery children only.
JUNIOR GIRLS - 12 noon
SENIOR GIRLS - 12.15pm
SIXTH FORM - 12.15pm
School transport home will be running in accordance with the early finish at lunchtime on this day.

EARLY buses in operation all week. Activities/Study is not available
DRAMA/MUSIC
GCSE G11 Devised Performance - Monday 27 November - The Chapel 4.00pm. Parents welcome to attend.
Performers Platform - Thursday 30 November - The Chapel 6.30pm.
Everyone welcome to attend. There will be a range of musical and LAMDA performances taking place with mulled wine and mince pies served from 6:15pm. Please confirm if you will be attending for catering purposes to dng@clairescourt.net.
