News from the Sports Master
Wow, what a fantastic week of sport we have had at Claires Court Junior Boys! All of the pupils in Year 4, 5 & 6 have had the chance to represent their school in their first rugby matches of the term.
I took great pleasure in witnessing the Year 4 boys in their first ever competitive matches at the school. I was hugely impressed with the standard of play as it shows what hard work the pupils and the Year 4 Games staff have put into getting all teams ready. We had five teams in Year 4 all playing St George’s Weybridge this Thursday. To have come away with five wins shows that the Year 4 pupils have a very promising season ahead of them.
The U10 teams all played in a triangular fixture against Davenies and Caldicott on Wednesday. The U10A,B& C teams all achieving their first win of the season the U10A&C team both achieved wins against Davenies and the U10B team had an impressive win against Caldicott.
All the U11 pupils traveled to St John’s Beaumont on Wednesday with some very impressive results the U11ABC teams all scoring solid wins with the U11DE team with a narrow loss.
Stats of the week
· We have played a total of 13 matches.
· We have scored 99 tries |
