FROM THE OFFICE | Speech Day - Thursday 21 September
All Senior and Sixth Form pupils will be joining us at Speech Day and Prize Giving at the Magnet Leisure Centre next Thursday. The event runs from 2.30pm. Please note the following arrangements:
- If prize winner’s parents are in attendance these pupils may stay at the end of the event and leave with parents.
- All other pupils will be returning to school by 5.00pm approx for collection or buses.
- If you have an invitation as your child is receiving an award/participating, please RSVP by return, so we can ensure we have sufficient seating. Speechday@clairescourt.com
- The room has been changed to the Main Hall, which will be signposted on entrance to the Magnet.
Coaches
The Monday early special begins on 18 September for our furthest coach passengers. Further information on the stops are available here. Booking is essential, please ensure you have completed this form if you wish your child to use this service.
Personal Accident and Personal Effects Insurance

Jeans for Genes - Friday 22 September
School will be supporting this charity, we will ‘Wear Jeans Change Lives’ on this day, we ask for a donation of £1 for the pleasure of wearing your Jeans to school for the day. This is staff too.
Spanish Request
Any pupil with Spanish books Mira 1 and Mira 2 from last year – if you could return these to Mr Perez in Room 26. Thank you.
Individual Photograph Orders Years 7 to 11
Order forms have come home via ‘boy post’ this week for parents to order photographs if you would like to. Please return order forms to the school office. Deadline for order is Friday 29 September.
No Nuts
Please be reminded the schools have a mandatory no nut policy across any foods and drinks. This applies to everyone bringing or supplying to the sites. Whether it is a bought in cake with a nut ingredient for a meeting or celebration, almond milk, peanut butter or Nutella sandwiches in a packed lunch these should simply not come on site. Please check ingredient labels or ask the Domestic Bursar who is happy to advise before items are brought in.
